About Me

My name is Keone Smith and I was born and raised on the big island of Hawaii. I moved to Maui about 2 years ago and created this blog to keep in touch with family. Eventually Facebook became my primary source of communication so I decided to turn “Live Maui” in to somewhat of a traveler’s guide. I spent my first 6 months or so on Maui as a Tourist visiting all the cool places here so I will make recommendations based on what places I like. I’m a local Dj and have played music for all the main night clubs here so I’ll let you know where the best entertainment hot spots are located. When it comes to Food/Restaurants, Hawaii in general is known for its diverse flavor and international cuisine so you’re sure not to be disappointed.
